Food counting machines are designed to provide highly accurate counting and packaging of various (frozen) food products, including both bulk quantities and consumer-sized packages. Whether you’re working with frozen vegetables, meat or bread rolls, a counting machine offers the speed and precision needed to meet high-volume production demands. With a wash down design, they are ideal for use in hygienic environments, ensuring easy cleaning and compliance with strict food safety standards.
Maximizing efficiency in food production
By automating the counting and packing process, these machines reduce human error and increase efficiency, ensuring that every package contains the correct number of items. Their versatility allows them to handle a wide variety of food products, like frozen meatballs, shrimps, donuts and IQF egg rolls, making them suitable for diverse food production lines. The compact counting machine features a small footprint, making it easy to place on hygienic platforms, above VFFS baggers, or over indexing trays and carton conveyors.

Food safety
The wash down design ensures the food counting machine meets the highest hygiene standards for food production. Designed and built according to Sanitary Equipment Design Principles, all contact surfaces are easily accessible for efficient cleaning and sanitizing. The stainless steel frame and corrosion-resistant contact parts can be cleaned with a low-pressure hose and moderate use of sanitizing agents. To maintain food safety, all food contact parts are FDA-compliant and suitable for processing both food and non-food items. These parts are designed for quick removal without tools, simplifying cleaning and minimizing the risk of cross-contamination. This makes it ideal for harsh working environments, such as meat, poultry and seafood processing.
Counting food process
Counting food products by piece is more efficient than “counting” by weight. Optical counting ensures accuracy, unaffected by small weight variations between individual products. Cremer counting machines use vibratory plates for smooth product transport and separation. The food counting machines include an optional vibrating sieve with a collector tray to catch crumbs and scraps. At the end of the vibratory plates, a product detection unit counts each item as it falls. Separation flaps act as buffers to maintain an accurate count between discharges.
