DCT-419
The DCT-419 is a unique and patented filling and transportation system for dahlia tubers and other perennials. The machine is used in conjunction with a CPT-300 bagger for producing display bags for both wholesale and retail, at a speed of 50 bags per minute.
The DCT offers a convenient working height for putting the dahlias into the passing buckets with enough space for four persons filling the buckets. The patented in-motion filling principle allows for continuous running of the buckets for increased productivity.
An optional root trimmer ensures that any roots sticking out of the filling buckets are perfectly trimmed off before the buckets enter the enclosed rotation section where the dahlias are pushed into their bag.
A vertical pushing arm gently pushes the dahlia tubers out of the buckets and into the forming tube of the CPT-300 form, fill and seal machine.
Because dahlia tubers can vary in size and shape, the CPT-300 can be fitted with an optional bag length detector system for producing nice cut-to-fit bags.
The DCT-419 is controlled by the touch-operated HMI of the CPT-300. This allows for complete control and monitoring of the whole packing line by just a single operator panel.
