The TSP series is the need-to-have counting system for open field bulb planting systems. Automatic bulb counting is proven to be a very cost-effective alternative for labour intensive human counting or planting by mass approximation. Switching over from bulb mass/area to number/area is a very cost-efficient way of planting your flower bulbs and gives much more control of the desired planting density.
Counting the number of planted bulbs per ridge, bed or area and having complete control over the planting density also provides useful data for any bulb grower. Instead of rough approximations you can now accurately compare your harvesting results down to the bulb.
The TSP can be delivered is various sizes depending on the ridge width and comes with a practical and easy-to-use operating terminal. The actual counting unit is weather sealed and dynamically accounts for dirt and soil on the scanning sensors. The complex scanning algorithm does not count loose bulb skins and is also able to cope with multi-nosed bulbs.
The TSP counting unit also controls the belt that delivers the bulbs for planting. It automatically adjusts the speed of the belt to meet the pre-set number of bulbs per meter of ridge and even compensates for the effects of roll and pitch as the tractor drives on sloping ground. These advanced features combined with a guaranteed counting accuracy makes the TSP the way-to-go counting system for all bulb growers.
